Wow. Looks like Flattop just doesn't want to be summitted from October on.

BTW - Great PICS!

Smudge, you took some great images on that hike! I'd like a couple of those in my portfolio.

Beautiful pictures, Michael. Too many good shots to pick a favorite one. I enjoyed the trip report also. Thanks for sharing the beautiful peaceful scenery with those stuck in a large metropolitan area.

Smudge those photos were awesome. What great scenery from on that trail.
Your trip report was great, it really almost felt like I was there. I'm jealous, you truely live in paradise. I cannot wait for the Stomp. I would love to try that trail, even if we only made it as far as you did.

Thanks again

Great pictures!!

I feel much more like a wimp for complaining about it being cold and windy in Sept when I was up there. ohmy.gif

Smudge,
I check this post daily now to pump myself up for the Stomp. I love those photos.

I have also been checking out your past Stomps on you site. Very Cool!

I am going out to get goggles today because it looks like we will need them at times.

I saw on The Weather Channel that the weather for the Stomp is gonna get a little nasty! I checked this morning and it was calling for Hi - 50 Lo- 30's and sunny, now they call for highs in the low 40's and rain/snow. I guess that at the altitude we'll be Stompin' in that translates into mucho snow & ice. Now if we can get a 70 MPH wind we can simulate Smudge's Halletts hike! Nice!

( BTW, Aaron, I noticed on the RMNP calender you had an allstar lineup of comedians and buffoons going - does that mean Randyman & Marvman are making it after all? wink2.gif )
