As a fan of farmers' markets in my hometown, I can't help but visit the one in Estes Park when I'm in the area. The EP market is held on Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Estes Park Brewery parking lot. They have lots of seasonal fruits and vegetables, along with baked goods, flowers, and cheeses. It's fun talking to the growers and learning about their products. Last year I bought some delicious goat cheese spreads from a lady who showed pictures of the goats that produced the cheese used in the the spread. There was also someone in the parking lot roasting green chiles which were then bagged up and sold.
If you have the time and happen to be in the park on a Thursday, the market is a worthwhile place to stop. I know I'll be back in September.

Thanks for bringing this up. We love to go and sample everything. The bread is our personal favorite. We got some summer squash and zucchini last week and made naked pizza a couple nights ago. It was excellent. The vendors are super nice too.

An update on the Farmer's Market: it now takes place at the Stanley Fairgrounds on Manford Ave, but still on Thursdays. Not sure when it will start up again.
