Mr. Weather bee.gif ,

There has been a thick haze over the Estes area today. Can you or anyone else tell me if it is smoke or just normal haze? If it is smoke, where is it coming from?

Thanks!

Malok

Jo, there are fires in Glacier National Park, Montana, and it could be coming from there. I know Weather:bee will know for sure. I noticed it tonight on the cams.

Ya, there is a thick haze of smoke over the mountains that you can see from here in Loveland. I'm guessing it's the fires in Montana.

It was so thick down here in Westminster, I was getting worried driving home, to the mountains...

I am thinking of coming out this weekend to take pictures. Is the smoky haze gone yet?

Yes, for the most part it is gone. It's much easier to take photos now, though I assume that when Bill and Sandy come that it will haze up again.

It's Sandy's new haze filter.

Ok. . .I think I'm going to cry now. At first when I read Jo's post, I thought it was from today, and a wave of panic shot thru me.

Course. . .I'll still like being there even if its hazy. . .butttttttttttt a few really pretty pictures would do my heart so much good.

I've been trying to pray the haze away smile1.gif

I thought so at first, too, Sandy and it scared me to death. I'm praying for good weather next week.
