What do you do when you see someone doing something illegal like picking wildflowers, approaching wildlife to the point they react, or feeding wildlife.
I always tell the people what they have done, and why it was wrong. I always throw out the fines involved as well. I wish those fine were more of a reality.
What can we do as citizens to get involved in scientific research projects inside the park? Or what topics does the park wish to have more observations on?
I'll think of more later I'm sure.

Although it might seem obvious to most people, I see a lot of lack of responsibility in the following areas, so they might make for good topics:
Everybody has seen traffic pile up when there is roadside wildlife...often people stop right on the road, or pull off the road on to delicate plant life...you probably will never stop people from gawking at elk on TRR, so what is recommended for etiquette?
I've seen people riding bikes, walking dogs, picking wildflowers, etc. on park trails - it might be good to cover what is illegal on RMNP trails that may be allowed in other parks or areas.
Wildlife protection closures - such as Lumpy Ridge to protect nesting falcons or Specimen Mountain to protect bighorns - is always a good topic. I think it would be good to discuss what the NPS has found about humans stressing out sheep, etc. because I think a lot of people just see trail closures as a nuisance and don't understand the good intentions behind the closures.
What to do if you see someone violating rules. Personally, I usually confront people myself (like one idiot who walked right past a "Area Closed for Restoration - Do Not Enter" sign). Does the NPS want us to report people or license plate numbers? (Please say yes!)
I'm sure Kyle will also cover the usual 'don't drink untreated water', 'get off of Longs Peak before you get hit by lightning', 'don't feed the marmots' topics, so I didn't mention that stuff.

If you need to be rescued, can you request that a specific ranger be involved?

I myself always use duct tape to hog tie any flower pickers I catch, and leave a note on their forehead that someone needs to call a ranger to come and book them.
