Product Review ::
Pies! More Pies! and muffins and brownies and cookies, all baked fresh daily! Oh my!

This is a new place that opened during the Summer of '06. I swear I gained 2 pounds just walking past the open door.

There are two rooms, more important one being where they bake the pies and other stuff and sell them, and an adjacent room with several tables in an austere yet comfortable decor, where you can savor whatever items seduced you from the counter.

They always have a variety of large and small pies and other goods available. We had the 3-berry pie (blueberry, raspberry and blackberry), the Apple-Cinnamon (twice), the Apple-Peach-Ginger, the Cherry-Peach, and one other that I can't think of right now. Fortunately for day-trippers and others who may not have storage available, you can buy pies by the (generous) slice.

We also had a raisin-pineapple-bran muffin, and a couple of humongous brownies.

Everything we tasted was a gustatory orgasm of well-blended flavors and fresh fruits.

They serve Kind coffee in the store, and had other bottled beverages.

I can't imagine a more welcome addition to the food experience of Estes Park than the Pie Company. I sincerely hope they survive until we can get back again next year.

My family and I tried the blueberry pie in May and it was very average at best. Maybe the cherry pie we try in October will be better.

Erik surprised me the other night and brought home some of their French Silk pie (it may have been called something else, but it was just like French Silk). It was absolutely wonderful! And by the way, in case anyone is curious, French Silk is my favorite type of pie of all time and I'll never refuse a gift of it whistling.gif

They have one of the best marketing signs I've ever seen. Highly visible on the front door is the message, "You need pie!". I drive past this store several times per day. The subliminal message is working! And, I think the owners are very nice people. "You need pie!"

The apple/cherry pie we had last September was awesome! I know this place will be one of our first stops when we get into town this year.

He also has a huge box truck that says the same thing. They are super nice people, be sure to stop in when in EP.

I have to agree. I bought a cherry/peach when I was there in March & I wasn't impressed. Maybe since it was the "off" season or something. There was very little selection. I'll definitely give it another chance though, because I do love pie!!
