awesome! i was in the park during some of the same time you were... every time it was getting foggy like that I wondered what it was like up there. i would've tagged along with those rangers too!

and not to mention those pictures are great!

That was a super report! My heart was pounding as I was reading about and seeing the pictures of the "Torcher Chamber" and the Homestretch.

You are a great writer, and your pictures were incredible. Congratulations on your summit of Longs. I am happy for you. Those marmots must of liked the smell of your tabasco - to try to take it away. That was funny. Again, really enjoyed all your trip reports and your pictures. Way to go!!!

(I have to admit, I'm kind of stuck on the fact that you took Tobasco sauce camping on Longs. Er... why? I can't say that would ever have occured to me.)
