Hi all, I finally am registered and thought I'd drop by for a quick howdy. I have recently added a weather news scroll to my site, and I am curious if it is going to slow anyone down. Please check it out at:

http://www.esteslive.com

If I keep the scroll, it will soon have links and possible audio. First off though, I want to make sure it is not a hindrance to those coming to the site.

Also the site will be getting another facelift very soon. It shouldn't be down during the new renovation. I am going to be adding many new features.

More news to come from esteslive.com.

Take care all!!
Greg

PS: GREAT SITE AARON!! :-)

Didn't slow me down at all. But I've got high speed cable connection. Maybe a dial-up user could check it out and give a report. Like I've said before, what a great service you provide with the Estes Park forecasts Greg five.gif Thanks!

My connection is pretty slow, but this opened right up. Thanks for this new site! It is terrific to have a better link for weather. Where does your information come from and is it more reliable than other sites? If it is more reliable, you can be sure that I would visit almost every day.

Greg is a weatherman. He used to be the local weatherman for Estes Park. He does his own forecasts for his site. Pretty cool, eh? B)

Feel free to come back often Malok. The site will soon have many new features, including weather forecasting for areas outside of Estes Park. Estes will be the main focus, but I will also be including weather forecasts and weather news for other parts of the country.

As always, all feedback and comments are welcome!

Take care,
Greg Berman

Thanks Aaron! If folks here would like, I can always tip this site off when a big weather change is coming to Estes Park, and then they can get the details and specifics at esteslive.com.

I used to do that at the on-line listserve, but for some reason there were individuals that complained that I was posting weather news too much. You would be surprised how many personal emails I received from people that were disappointed I cut back on my weather posts. I was appreciative of those emails, but I decided since a handful of people complained, I vastly cut back on any weather posts to that site.

I appreciate your nice comments, regarding my site. Feel free to drop in anytime.

Take care,
Greg

Greg, thrilled to hear that you will be doing this and that you have the background as well. Wow! This is a site that we will be visiting all the time. Glad to learn of it.
