Here's a lot (187) of photos of our recent backpacking trip starting at the North Inlet TH, going up the Continental Divide and coming back down and out at the Tonahutu TH. This is the longest trip of this type my wife & I have done, about 30 miles with our side-trip to Lake Nokoni.
Monday night we camped at Pine Marten (sorry, no pictures.) Tuesday morning we hiked up to Lake Nokoni; we had wanted to go all the way to Nanita, but had gotten a late start and knew we had a tough climb to move camp up to July for the night. Wednesday was our long day, mostly above treeline. We had gorgeous weather, not a storm in sight, it was truly amazing. We hiked 9 hours (with breaks) that day to arrive at Tonahutu Meadows campsite for the night... I felt like we would never get there. Thursday was our rest day, we slept in, took a long lunch at Granite Falls, and moved camp only a short distance to Sunset. We stayed up for hours just hanging out, taking pictures, watching the sun go down. Friday was a nice short & early hike out to the truck.
Enjoy the photos!
