First of all I suggest that you create an account with YouTube.com and upload your videos there.

Then you can use their 'embed' link to display the video within posts in this forum. *NOTE* Only members in the following usergroups can embed videos into their posts in this forum: advanced members, and seasoned veterans. This is due to security reasons.

If you're not in the one of the two usergroups allowed to embed videos you can either PM the link to your YouTube video to me so I can embed it here with credit given to you for the video, or you can simply just post a link to your video.

For those who can embed videos here's how it goes....

You simply just copy the 'embed' code that YouTube provides you with and then paste it into your post in this forum. Make sure you select 'HTML On - Raw Linebreak Mode' from the drop down box which you'll find in the 'Post Options' section below where you type your text during the posting screen.

That's it....simple and easy and a good way to share your destination videos!!

If you have any trouble with this please post in the Suggestions/Problems forum.

I've changed the way to embed YouTube videos to make it easier for y'all and more secure for the forums.

****Disregard the previous directions listed above******

Here's the new instructions.....

1) Get the video ID of the YouTube video you want to display (similar to this '8Vwz_7NbWig') You can find your video ID by looking in the URL they give you for the video. See the example following, the bold part is the video ID.... http://www.youtube.com/v/8Vwz_7NbWig

2) Use the the tag displayed below...

CODE
[youtube]your video ID here[/youtube]

An example of this tag with a real video ID would look like this...

CODE
[youtube]8Vwz_7NbWig[/youtube]

That's it! Easy for you and secure for the software. This way I don't have to allow HTML in this forum's posts.

Any questions or problems ask me via PM or the suggestions/problems forum.
