Do any of you know if there's a place in Estes Park where I could rent an ice axe and crampons?

Thanks!

I would think that Rocky Mountain Pharmacy would have what you are looking for. They are located on Wonderview. Probably carry a wide selection also.

Oh, wait.... you said crampons.

nevermind.

I would call the Mountain Shop. Alan had a friend who rented an ice axe from the Mountain Shop for $5 or $6 per day last year, but you can't rent crampons though.

I've always said that crampons was a much more appropriate name for the products at the pharmacy than the mountaineering device!

Actually, I called Estes Park Mountain Shop and they rent both crampons and ice axes. It's like $5 per day for each.
