[Tuesday's hike was to Black Lake, and then on to Blue Lake. A front moved through so the weather kept changing, but was ultimately great for our hike. Since we started early again, we were done and back to the cabin before the bad afternoon weather moved in.

For those note familiar with Blue Lake, it's located above Black, in the opposite direction from Green and the other lakes further up the gorge.

Blue Lake. Three of us went out to the point beyond the lake. Strong winds, cool temps, but great views in all directions.

Hope you enjoyed these pictures. I'll try to post a note for our trip to Mt. Ida today sometime in the next day or two. We took a long route from Timber Lake trail head.
