Fantastic report & description. I'm feeling more & more confidant that I can do it now, I've had doubts. But if a little blonde woman in high heels can do it, then a big 6'3" manly man (ok, aging computer geek) should be able to make it...

Great trip reports... I really liked them both. the top of the spiral route looks pretty extreme... and the trip with your sister.. well that's somebody else one the list of people that have done it.. and I haven't. Congrats to her...
