Man, Andy, you put together great reports. One thing I always think when reading your reports is how good you are at remembering details during the climbs. Do the pictures and videos help you remember things, or do you just write it down as soon as you get home, or both?

Anyway, thanks for another great report. Glad you got your jacket on safely and without dropping anything.....and that you guys didn't have any bad encounters with the lightning! yup.gif

Loved the report. Glad you got down ok with all the lightening and thunder. You continue to amaze me with what you do. Pics were great, too.

Again, WOW! I remember looking up at The Sharkstooth and trying to envision someone climbing it. No way! Kudos to you & Fabio!

Pretty much all of the above. One interesting thing about this trip is that my impression of what was going on during the third pitch and reality are totally different. After reading my trip report Fabio told me what really happened - i.e. he didn't even do the hand traverse (he found a much easier way, hence no pro) and he climbed up an easy dihedral beside the tricky flake and placed pro above before he climbed back down to go up the flake (he did this while waiting for the other team who didn't even climb the flake). When I have time I will edit the trip report to reflect his reality.

Could you please translate that into English for us non-climbing types?

Let me take a stab at it...

Translation: Andy's partner for the day, Fabio isn't quite certifiably nuts as demonstrated in his behavior during this instance, but other experiences of Andy's probably led him to draw this conclusion anyway.
