Buy a box of happiness!

This is a necessary stop on EVERY trip to Estes. The best salt water taffy on the planet!

The sign says "established 1935", which would probably qualify it as one of the oldest businesses in Estes. They have the old pulling and wrapping machines in the window. It is amazing to think that someone, some 70 or 80 years ago, was standing and watching these same machines in operation.

Besides history and mechanics, these folks have great taffy! I tried a couple of places in Gatlinburg a couple of years ago, and there is no comparison. This stuff is fantastic.

Pricing is 20 dollars for a large box (small box? - whats the point?). You can find cheaper, but fresher? Tastier? Produced right in front of you? Hey, you're on vacation....
