Excellent - again! caribou.gif The waterfall you zoomed in on is beautiful, and that last ridge at the top looks like walking up a backbone. Glad you all had a good day - thanks for sharing it with us.

You're welcome. I'm pretty sure that waterfall is called Grace Falls. It was nice and there were lots of other little cascades coming down the north face of Notchtop as well. The scrambling across the ridge was really nice, but getting from the trail to the ridge was a bit of a grunt up a fairly unstable slope. It took a lot more time and effort than I anticipated. I'd only give this hike one thumb up. The brew fest on the other hand gets three thumbs up. That was fun! My favorite from the fest: Flying Dog Heller Hound - very refreshing after a hike!
