This is an area that we have seen the sheep several times. You have to have a sharp eye or binoculars but according to the rangers at sheep's lake, it's an area where the ewe's go to lamb. They spend much of the summer in this area. We once saw-15-20 ewes/lambs in the area just past the lake on the hillside.
It is an impressive sight!

Thanks for the trip report! 3 weeks and 1 day and we'll be trekking across Nebraska to get to Estes Park! Can't wait! yup.gif
