Here's what Cub Lake looks like this week. I was surprised at how green things were up there already. On that hike, I made it a loop and continued on to the Pool and then down the Fern Lake Trail back to my car. This made for a nice change. I must mention though that it is MUCH easier to go from Cub Lake to the Pool than the other way. This is another loop route we can mention when people ask about them later this summer.

Michael, let's see what the weather is doing the day before and then we can decide on somewhere to go. I'd enjoy the company.

Thanks John, but I personally think this one taken last year is better. rolleyes.gif A few clouds and no wind makes a world of difference. Here are a couple others as well.

Eric, Great Photos! We've hiked the Cub Lake - Pool loop several times.
Being from the flatland, it's a great acclamation hike for us.

Bill is right! Jen, I know you want a career in an environment related field. You should know that generally speaking, when the temperature goes up like it does most year's in the spring, the snow and ice melts away. I thought this weather fact might help you in future trip planning and in your future career. yup.gif

It's so great to see current pictures from the park. I have appreciated all of the pictures everyone has posted, but it's so cool to see how it looks right now. Thanks a bunch!

Marsha
