Ok, so I was going to enjoy a nice, calm snack at Gem Lake. Right? Wrong. No sooner had a I sat down, had a sip of my water, and pulled out my topo map (ah.. some light reading over lunch ), I was attacked by a killer rodent. And seeing as we Forumers had just been laughing over Mike's incident with a pika, I thought I would bring back my own pictures. :)

Here the little guy is, trying to get at my trail mix inside my backpack:



He had a bit of trouble staying still long enough for me to get a good close-up shot... That rascal.

Hey Bill! Send me some gas money and I'll go up there every day that I can!!! The camera is a Canon Powershot A530, btw. I still haven't figured out every setting and function, as you saw in the human trampoline picture.
