DeeCeeM,
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I took your advice. Even though the picture did not show up on the preview, it showed up in the actual post (in the non-RMNP section). I guess I shouldn't have been trying to blame my computer since it was my lack of expertise all along.
And, Aaron, thanks for your help offer too. It looks like my problem is solved.
need help uploading?

Thanks for the info on Photobucket, I was trying to figure out how to share some of my pics!! I'm not in the clear yet, but hopefully this won't be too difficult. Can anyone say....almost computer illiterate?

Let us know if you need any help once you get set up with photobucket. I sure there are a few members who use photobucket that would help.

By using the "IMG" link in photobucket, does that also automatically resize the photo or do I need to manually do that?

The images are resized when you upload them. Click on the "options" button to choose the maximum size you want your pictures to be.

Okay, I really don't intend to seem helpless or hopeless. But....I am leaning more toward hopeless. I tried to upload a personal photo in My Controls, and guess what? It failed...I haven't failed anything in a really long time. Well, that I can remember anyway. Ooops..I almost had a high school flashback, it was 1979, what do you want? hahaha just kidding. (No old jokes please, I could have sworn that was just last week.) Anyway, does anyone know what I did wrong? I went to browse, double clicked the picture I wanted to add and ....it failed. Anyone have any hints for me? Maybe a picture just wasn't meant to be. Amen.

Hi Sandy,
It may have failed because your photo is too large. Try shrinking it to a smaller size and see if that works. If you don't know how to shrink it, email it to me and I'll do it for you and then email it back to you.

Thanks, John. I'll try it. If I can't figure it out myself, I may email it to you. I really appreciate your help.
