Boulder Brook is located on Fall River Road close to the Fall River Entrance to RMNP and just a quick hop into town. It is comprised of spa suite cabins, and 1 and 2 bedroom suites.
Emily and I have always chosen to stay here (except one summer when we stayed at Fawn Valley). We stay in a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen. There is an oversized jetted tub in the bathroom with a skylight; a pull out sofa bed in the living room and a king bed in the bedroom with the softest pillows, comforters and duvet covers I have ever seen.
There is a hot tub on property along with several picnic areas. The Fall River is just steps away from the door to the suite so open the windows at night and fall asleep listening to the roar of the river. Deer and Elk like to come drink from the river so you never know what critters you will see. I love to have my coffee on the balcony in the morning and watch the hummingbirds and listen to the river. There are several benches along the banks of the river.
The room are exceptionally clean and well-decorated. There is a tv in the living room and the bedroom with many DVD's and videos to check out from the front office. They supply the room with several books and board games to enjoy.
We usually stay 7 nights which gives you a 10% discount. It runs around $170/night which I justify by stocking the kitchen and eating very few meals out (except our annual pilgrimage to the Dunraven).
It is a no-smoking on property facility which is nice.
There is no pool or playground so it might be a bit boring for those with little ones, but we really love this place.
