THanks for letting me know. I learned that if it hits the goal then it won't allow any further donations toward that goal.

I just made the donation to RMNA's memorial fund. I submitted it in memory of Dixie C. Manning acknowledged to her friends at RMNPforums.

Julie here, from the Rocky Mountain Nature Association (RMNA). Thank you so much for the very thoughtful gift in memory of Dixie. Aaron will receive the official letter of receipt, but we want you all to know that with your permission, the gift will be applied to our Next Generation Fund, which supports youth education in the park through such programs as Junior Ranger, park internships, environmental education, youth-targeted publications and much more. The goal of NGF is to foster the next generation of public lands stewards.

Dixie was clearly well-loved, and had a deep affection for RMNP. We so appreciate you thinking of us and the park as a way to remember her.

We have not yet been contacted by Dixie's family. If anyone knows to whom we may direct gift acknowledgments, please email me. Thank you.

being a grandpa of a couple of Junior Rangers... The smiles on their faces when given the award last summer.. what an awesome gift.. a great way to pass it forward!

I'm very happy the gift will be used in the Next Generation Fund. It's pretty clear that more people need to learn to love and preserve the wild, the programs helped by this fund are very worthy.
