As a few of you know, Igloo Ed and I ventured out recently for more igloo and winter camping.
Having only winter camped once (this year's STOMP), of course I wanted more experience.

I debated whether to post a trip report on an otherwise less-than-spectacular outing.
Coming to reason that many of us here on the forums love to see others' times "out there", I felt compelled by that alone.

Trip report here and map below.

Red roughly is day 1
Blue is day 3
Purple is our lift from SkiBudFrank. Thanks again Frank!

Thanks for being along and putting up with the struggle of minimalist winter camping. I wouldn't have wanted the conditions to be much more severe.
You did very well. A lot of work and dealing with the weather too.
Ya, I do it again. Not much reason too but sometimes things happen and it's good to know what one can get away with.

Like yourself Ed, I like Mother Nature's extremes. Surviving = learning (for most). :)

In my younger years, it's a good thing my mom was around to keep us in the basement when the tornadoes would come through because who knows what state I might have ended up in!?! lol
