There was a fire near Drake when we were out in July. Didn't turn into anything. When we were out there two years (or three maybe) there was a pretty big fire along Hwy 36 or 7 - one of those going south out of Estes. Emily and I were getting paranoid that we were fire jinxes. Can't blame this one on us!

Hope they get it out soon. It always makes me sick to think of all those trees burning, even though I know that fires are necessary sometimes. I learned that lesson in Environmental Biology!! Must have been the lecture I actually listened to.
