The pic below is looking back east on the way up in the early morning hours. It is not a good pic as there was not enough exposure and I didn't have a tripod so it is very much fuzzy!

The pic below is of the three of us resting at the Thunder Lake cabin. I was up there in early June and at that time it was completely covered in snow, absent about one foot of the roof. I had posted a pic of that day back in June. Hard to beleive there can be that much accumulation of snow.

The pic below is of the three of us at Lake of Many Winds. Boy, was that lake appropriately named! We felt little wind until we reached that lake.

The pic below is a look back at the vast tundra that leads you to Mt Alice. This part is a very easy hike.

The pic below is from the summit looking at the big three - Longs, Meeker and ChiefsHead with Pagota just barely visable.

This is a pana from Mt Alice looking to the north. From the right you see McHenry's, then Powell Peak, then Taylor Peak and then in the very far distance Otis and Hallets. You can see it more clearly when blown up.

The pic below is just below the Mt Alice summit looking down at Lion Lake 1 & 2. At the top of this pic and to the upper right is Mt Orton (most of it - the top is cut off) and the tundra that leads you to ChiefsHead.

The pic below is looking down the pass and at Lake of Many Freakin Winds and then Thumder Lake in the distance.

The final pic is of the inlet stream feeding Thunder Lake.
