I was breaking trail up to my crotch in snow at times and my strength felt good. My heart sure likes to get pounding too. Whoo Hoo!

I love seeing what is going on at Rocky during the fall. Can't wait to get back! Thanks for the photos Ed.

Man, it sure is looking like winter is definately here....well, at least up in the mountains. I'm not sure I'm ready for the snow and ice yet. I'm kinda liking taking little strolls around town here in my shorts and a t-shirt.

It's nice to see you, though, enjoying "your" time of the year up in the mountains, Ed. Those ice pics are really cool! So glad you avoided the trees that were falling due to the high winds.

It is official - winter is here! BTW - Glare ice is a phrase we use all the time in the midwest.

I thought Nebraska was Midwest... (don't know where Aaron's been)
Yup, it is used in Norde Decoder too. To me, it meant ice that was once liquid on top and refroze flat/smooth enough to see light reflecting.

Glare ice must be an upper Midwest term primarily. Kind of like "you betcha" :D
