Just made our donations rewards contribution using pay pal. Who links this to the user account. Just wondering since the name on the credit card does not match the user name on the forum

Aaron does it. Did the email you use on paypal match the email that you used to sign up for the forums?

Rhonda. I am having a donations reward status problem also. I received conformation on my PayPall payment the same day I made payment. 9-17-2011 > > Receipt ID# is 2457-3490-6437-5533. Also has shown up on my Visa card statement already. I sent PM to Aaron and later Marvman but so far have had no response. Screen said PMs were sent but I did not know if the PM service actually works with my donations rewards status being expired / not updated.

If I needed to pay after the the last years date expired I could do it again with no problem since I donate extra / larger amount toward the end of the year anyway.

Any help will be appreciated.

p.s. I know things take time and the guys are busy fellows but I thought they would let me know ( if they got the PMs) even if it would take a while to figure out!

Fox, this is something that Aaron may have to check out. Since he's in the process of unpacking from his move, you might give him a day or two to get back to you. I'll see what I can do in the meantime.

Donations rewards system shouldn't have any effect on being able to pm. In fact, I can tell you I got the very kind pm you sent me the other day. I think the problem is just that Aaron has been very busy.

By the way, any time you have a problem like this, it's always a good idea to pm all 4 admins - Aaron, me, Marvman and DrCloud. That way, whoever is covering the boards at the time can reply to you.

Hope we can get you fixed up very soon.

I just checked the forums control panel, and I see that there are three transactions awaiting Aaron's approval. I would be willing to bet that yours is one of them. Unfortunately, since he handles the money end of things, he'll need to take care of it.

I'm sending you and Aaron a pm about it. Please be sure to respond to me so I'll know you got it.

No (LOL here). I just checked and used my yahoo email for paypal. No worries as I did send a pm to Aaron explaining.

You can add aotheronewho paid bypapal, but notecorded. I Sent an mail withacopy from my bank.

I was wondering about this also. I paid, but it still reads paid until Sept 11.

I think I can safely say that Aaron has been overwhelmed with recent donations to renew, plus moving, plus work, and he is the only one who can handle this aspect of it, so even though I also got an email saying I hadn't paid when I know I did, I am not worried about it because I know Aaron will get it worked out.

A question for you folks - does the "paid to" date include the year?

I'll be posting something about this on the help center. It's an issue where the software is confused when a renewal notice is sent but the user creates a new donation rather than renewing the "old" donation. If you've donated recently but the forums is saying it's expired then post something about it to let me know using the link I provided above.
