On Friday Sept 2nd I decided to take a nice little hike to the Loch. The only time I had seen the Loch was coming back down after doing Otis and it was raining so I figured I needed to go back. I entertained the idea of continuing to Sky Pond but with a big hike planned the next morning with Diane H, I decided to just stop at the Loch and make an early day of it. I was on trail by 7am and back to the car around 11:00am. It was a beautiful hike - a little cold and windy at the lake but really great views. Enjoyed taking the fire trail on the way back and reliving Ed's stories from a few days earlier.

Sometimes it's nice to get in a short hike and have the rest of the day to relax. A worthy destination.

A short hike for some is a long hike for others.
