What a day, that's a lot of miles with an overnight pack. I'd think even more exhausting than Otis.
I came across a small Silnylon stuff sack that is white and I use it for all the small things I take on every trip. It's thin enough to see through it and it also lets lots of light into the sack when looking in for tiny things.
Glad you didn't let the experience ruin your fun in the Park.

I love your pictures!
My heart broke when I read of your mishap. It's so easy to lose things in our backpacks.
I lose things in my purse all the time, too.
Staci, you have such a great attitude. I look forward to hiking with you again someday.

We have hiked the Lawn/Crystal in one day and it can wear on you. We have also camped up at Lawn Lake. You did great hauling a full pack up and back down in one day! We forgot our spoons once when we camped at Odessa and my husband (thank goodness remembered his knife) carved us some out of drift wood. We cleaned them up with some camp soap and we were good for dinner!
