We are hiking to the boulderfield this weekend and overnighting before trying keyhole route on Longs. Usually there is plenty of water between rocks up there, does anyone know if this is the same this year? Just want to be sure Boulder Brook hasn't dried up that high (and would rather tote the water up than have to return to Chasm lake to pump water after getting to the boulder field). Thanks!

I believe Boulder Brook is still running fine. I don't think it ever dries up completely. Especially with all of the snow we had this last season, there is still more this year than usual. this is just my guess... You can call the BC office 970-586-1242, I'm sure they would be able to give you proper advice.

I'll have to guess too, but I've never heard of it drying up. Also, like Jflo says, we had a lot of snow that is still melting.

I filled my bottle from it a couple of weeks ago. It is probably running a little higher than normal this year, so you should have no problem.
