The picture you were unsure of and thought it to be #9 is actually the east face of Otis Peak and not one of the knobs of my series of 10 knobs. In that picture though, you can see knobs #5 and #6 running up to the left side of Otis' east face. They are the rocks sticking out of the trees.

I really enjoyed this report! Your dad is amazing!! I would love to be in that good of shape at that age.

Another fantastic report and group of photos, Becky. I'm glad your dad was ok after his fall. From what Ed said, I'm assuming he (your dad) doesn't use trekking poles. My balance has never been good, and I don't know how many times they've kept me upright. You sure made some wonderful memories with your mom and dad on this trip.

That was quite a "knobalicious" report! Your dad is really a trooper. I'm so glad he was OK after his fall.

Empty plates at Smokin' Dave's? Must have been a good meal. :smile1:
