This is what Daniel saw on Day 1. I'm not sure how much was on the North Inlet Trail itself, and how much he saw exploring on his own after they reached their campsite.

They saw some beautiful sites.... sure wish they could have fulfilled their plans.

I thought this one was beautiful, even though I have no idea what I'm looking at.

I believe that is Andrews Peak on the left and Ptarmigan Mountain on the right.

I was up that way in 2000, my first backpacking trip in RMNP. Great report!

Extremely gorgeous. I really love the lake shots.

We'll be spending three days on the west side later this week, so if anyone could identify the lakes, I would really love it.

Sandy, I think they are probably Lake Nanita and Lake Nakoni.. They spent their night out at the July campground. Second night was supposed to be at the Boulderfield, if Joshua wouldn't have gotten so sick.

Daniel was going to do some exploring north of the trail, too, but I don't know if he did. These lakes look as if they are on a trail, so my guess is Nanita and Nakoni.
