Is Indian Peaks (Brainerd Lake entrance) still buried under lots of snow?

Last I looked, hikes out of Glacial Gorge required snowshoes to get to The Loch, and wings to get to Mills Lake (the bridge is out, I think). Hikes to Emerald also mentioned snowshoes.

We're coming from Minnesota. We just put our snowshoes AWAY and would like to let them rest until, hopefully, December. But there are hundreds of hikes downhill from P2P or below 10K in RMNP, hikes we have not done because of time constraints. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Not sure of current status but last Saturday (Memorial Day weekend) the road was closed about 3 miles before Brainard Lake. There's lots of snow up there yet.

I doubt the road will open before July this season.
