We are coming to Rocky next Thursday through Sunday, planning on bringing our snowshoes along. I am curious if anyone knows the trail condition to Lawn Lake - is it all snow covered? Also what are conditions like past Mills - to Black Lake? If anyone has any info that would be great. :)

There is still gobs of snow in the park.. expect March-like conditions... I ran up about 2 miles of the Lawn Lake trail and there was snow about a mile and a half in. Granted, it's warm today, but supposed to cool of and rain/snow in the park this week. So a lot could happen, either way. Beyond Mills will be similar to March for sure... we are about 4 - 6 weeks behind as far as the great thaw is concerned. Normally Lumpy Ridge is 100% snow free this time of year (as in not a trace of snow all the way around), you can see from a video I took up there two days ago, that it's like full on winter... http://michael-hodges.com/blog/?p=454
So come prepared for winter hiking conditions for sure... I'd check the weather a few day out to see what it will do over the days you are here, but don't expect tons of melting between now and then.
