Thunder Lake is on the short list, if I can find the right partner and timing.

But the little guy really wants to go past Black Lake to the base of Spearhead, so that will be first on the list if we can get a backcountry camp site.

One destination that is not mentioned much is Rowe Glacier. I did that last year along with Hagues. That Glacier setting is the best in the park I think.

Too many to list. Got two separate trips planned in August one with family and one solo.
For the family trip my son and I are going to attempt Longs again and I want reattempt Gabletop after choosing the wrong gully up from Primrose Pond area - should've went all the way up to Loomis Lake before heading up :)
For solo trip my goal is to get to Gorge Lakes with Diane H. and also Chasm/Iron Gates to Meeker Ridge with Grannyheart. Also got a few other ideas in mind. Last year was a horrible year for preparation and it showed on the trails. Since returning from that trip been hitting the cardio pretty hard and hopefully it will pay off this summer :)
One of the best parts about RMNP is daydreaming about all the places you want to go and each year learning something new.

I'm hoping to do Long's Peak this year. I've been reluctant to try Long's, not so much because it's
tough (and it IS tough), but because of the crowds and recommended the middle-of-the-night start
time. I think the many nice posts from the "GBUTH" forum members also provided some needed
motivation. We'll see how it goes.
