Now the Kempers have Annie and her 'grandchildren' hanging out on their property, which is a llama ranch in Estes Park. Kemper says he has never hidden anything and that wildlife officers have known about Annie for years. Recently someone has complained to the Department of Wildlife resulting in the demand for the surrender of Annie.
Kemper thinks that relocating Annie may result in her death. "I don't know why they want to take them away now after she's been here 9 years; after she's decided where she wants to live", said Kemper.
