Thanks for the kind words everyone. Sandy didn't mention that we'd only met and started dating 6 weeks before that day at the courthouse.
When I look at that avatar ... it's those huge eyeglasses ...
For what ever reason, I was the one that took the marriage license when we went back to work. I used it to prove to my coworkers I really had just gotten married. Of course, there was also the call home to Mom that weekend - guess what? I suppose she was used to that kind of thing. One other time I called, "Hey mom, guess what I just did?" Nope, I went parachuting.
Kids do the darn'dest things when they grow up.
