Thanks for the report and pics, I need to do that one sometime. Bummer about the neighbors that is so bizzare for the Park. It was an incredble warm weekend down on the plains, over 80 on Saturday.

Your report of climbing Steep Mountain brought back some great memories for me. Thanks for sharing.
Boy, that mountain sure has gotten a lot of traffic from Forumers these past couple years....with good reason!
I want to hear more about the bad neighbors. It's wild to imagine anyone being that out of control when I think of all the absolutely great neighbors I've had in the past.

I did Odessa with a friend some years back and we came out this way into Moraine....we were dead by the time the shuttle scooped us up. Thanks for the pics!

We were the only ones up there on Saturday! I love hikes like that.
The neighbors stayed in their tent when we got there, when we got back, it appeared to spend their whole day in their tent. She was very vocal, obnoxious, very very loud and had quite the foul mouth. There was alcohol involved and we hoped they would pass out. However I think there was some type of stimulent involved, because they did not stop. We had the most gorgeous spot in the park and really didn't want to go anywhere else. All the spots were filled at that point and we would have had to pack up, and find another campground. We sat outside with Ed and chatted for a while. After it got dark they really started lighting into each other. We opened the windows on our camper and when it got quiet we went back outside, but it seemed they were waiting for us to go outside, like they were on stage or something. They got more vocal and it was just too bizzarre for words. When they started punching each other we went to the front gate and called the park rangers. We made a statement, they hauled him off to jail with a warrent out for his arrest for domestic abuse (prior) and she was put up in a hotel. They left! Peace was restored. They were very pathetic folk, young, mid 30's. UGH, I need to shake it off!!! Up until Saturday it was just obnoxious generators we have ever had to deal with. The night was still warm and the stars were very beautiful!

The RV geek in me wants a pic of your camper. Probably didn't take a shot of that, eh?

Old Picture. It is a 1997, 8 feet across, 26 feet long, Queen size bed, wish it was a King!. Bought used of course but paid for. Two batteries and two large gas tanks. We can go for two days on the water supply, usually don't take showers. Do you have a camper Marv? They are a blast for sure. We dream of getting a different one but probably won't. I want one with no separation from living room to bedroom and a 20 or 24 footer. Bill wants pull outs. We will probably keep this one. It is pretty sweet.

Craigs list has em by the bunches. New ones cost a bundle for something that is used maybe 6 times a year.
