I can't remember for sure now which particular store it was....but some shop in Estes Park I think....if not then it was probably at the Alpine Visitors Center shop.

Blelated, but HUGE, congrats on the climb! I remember talking about this with you Wednesday and then Thursday, when we all turned up at Smudge's "living room." Way to go!
With a similar experience, I must say that hiking with >50 lbs less body is a lot more fun! And, the hiking helps keep them off...
The morning walks back here in LR have felt like swims instead, with the high humidity versus the mountain air.
I'm not sure if I'll ever do this one, but it sure is great to know you did and read such a great report.

Aaron, I'm kind of late, too, with reading your trip report and cogratulating you, but you have my utmost respect and admiration, and what a fun story you told.
Thanks for sharing, and my heartiest congrats to you! That's something I know I will never get to do...started hiking too late in life....plus a fear of heights. That picture of the Narrows that was on Tom Veik's Weekly Rocky website a while back gave me vertigo just looking at it.
Great job!
Rhonda

Rhonda, I couldn't agree more about the Narrows, makes the small hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I admire all who have accomplished this feat.

Aaron, great report!!! Too funny!
I haven't climbed Longs for about 5 years now, but really want to get back up there. But, too outta shape at the moment. You preparations are inspiring, no doubt. I need to get out and off my fat butt!!
Thanks again for the report and pics!! Congrats!!
Marvman, I know I have a bookmarked website for those benchmark keychains, but can't find it right now. But I did come up with these two that are close:
Geositu
Highmtns.com
I'll let you know if I find the other one.
