Hey guys... just figured you all would like this TR... Alan and I went out yesterday for 23+ miles and 10,000 feet of gain on a route that was too spectacular for words!

Enjoy!

Most impressive. And let's see, that's…

*counts on fingers*

One, two, three, four, five, six… seven. Seven summits more than I've achieved in my lifetime.

Just a nice little stroll in the park for you two, huh?

Unbe-freaking-lievable! And I bet this little sentence: "Consequently, we flirted with some very dangerous and challenging terrain." could make a two hour adventure movie within itself. I am very impressed. To me you and Al are like those Chinese acrobats who can turn their bodies into pretzels -- it defies imagination and reality.

Good job ! :hifive:

I was wondering why you left out Chiefs Head and Pagoda but you explained that well. McHenry's Notch is pretty "stimulating".

It almost was A Walk in The Park

Swimswithtrout - we have plans to do the entire circumnavigation..., but since we don't do the technical stuff well have to descend from chiefs head into glacier gorge, then re climb pagoda, head over to longs, then add storm and half mountain. And this is from flattop, not the shorter route up thatchtop... The quickest know complete circumnavigation of our route was by , I believe, Jim Disney at just under 24 hours, but he also did all of the technical stuff on Pagoda and keyhole ridge... we wont touch that stuff - I dont like the idea of peeing in my running shorts!
