I had an afternoon open and wanted to see if there was an off-trail approach to the East Inlet Falls from below along the stream. There was lots of deadfall and it was slow going. Next time I'll stay on the trail maybe as far as Cat's Lair or so and then see if there's a way down. (These are not the falls ...)

Nice photo. I was in that area last summer---not a lot of views as you noted
About the only way would be to descend to the river and then bushwack up it and hope.
Your shot is interesting.

Here is a challenge---head to Lake Verna. look across the lake from the trail you arrive on and look up--way up. There is a really big falls up there---now that holds some promise!!

BTW---the Cat's Lair site no longer exists---it is just a zone. . .

If I get out there last week of August, I'll look for the falls across from Verna.
But I wonder if they'll be dry at the end of the melt season.
