Zoe and I stopped in to the west location of Kind Coffee after our hike yesterday since I was falling asleep on the road to the point where I thought I was going to have to rent a hotel room. Often when I'm that tired, even multiple espresso shots won't keep me awake enough to make it home, but I was hoping for a miracle. :goodmorning:

The shop smells WONDERFUL. The staff was polite and tolerant of my tired gibberings. They've got a copy of the Foster book on one of the tables, so if you need to look something up on your way into the park and you forgot your copy, you can do it there. I had a latte with two extra shots, and was WIDE AWAKE by the time I finished it - the espresso is definitely supercharged and the drink was very very tasty.

The most notable thing, though, and the reason I'm actually writing a review instead of just noting that there's a good coffee shop on the way to the park is, they were cranking out free iced coffee for the firefighters - they must have made at least five gallons while I was there, and they were loading it into coolers to take to them on-site.

They really are KIND, aren't they? That's great to know.
