A plane crashed last night near the Forest Canyon area. Two people were on board and survived with minor injuries. A 54-year-old man and his 16-year-old daughter from Wisconsin. Rangers reached the area at 6:39am this morning. There will be a press conference at 11am this morning at the Beaver Meadows Visitors Center.

WOW! If I was going to be in a plane crash, that's not where I'd want to come down! I'm assuming that they must have crashed near the west end since rangers have already gotten to them.

I was hoping you'd chime in, Erik. I was telling a friend at work about this crash and that that had to be a bad place to end up due to how terrible it is to traverse that area.
