+John  : (Today, 05:57 PM) Quote from waitress at breakfast.."I was worried when the sirens went off but it was just a fluke. I guess you never know with this fault line and all." I can't even find the words......
Aaron  : (Today, 03:14 PM) No business will lose money if this site goes down. Only the longing by many for their hourly RMNP fix is suffered. Trusting the cloud to store your documents or to store customer data, as well as critical daily/hourly operational tasks to the cloud is a completely different beast.
Qbert  : (Today, 01:41 PM) Doesn't this website live in the cloud? lol
Aaron  : (Today, 09:40 AM) HA! Now I get to rub it in to all the salesforce fanboys at work that salesforce is down....this is what you get for living in the cloud....suckas!
+Melanie  : (Today, 09:26 AM) Don't worry, be happy John! Miracles can happen!
+John  : (Today, 09:22 AM) Are you trying to get people to vote for you?
DeeCeeM  : (Today, 09:05 AM) I tried to take my spring flowers picture this morning, but the neighbor's cat kept rubbing up against my hand and chewing my camera strap. I'm not sure how well any of them turned out.
+ScottO  : (Today, 08:22 AM) Can't take a picture of it, but just had one sign of spring in Minnesota.... thunder. It's foggy, overcast, and raining here today.
jflo  : (Today, 02:28 AM) Ha. ha. I bet you amuse yourself quite a bit.
+John  : (Yesterday, 11:16 PM) Police arrested two kids yesterday, ones was drinking battery acid, and the other was eating fireworks. They charged one and let the other off.

Just thinking of a trip I did up to Andrews Tarn with Fireman Jim on July 1st of 08 and found this picture of Jim's that shows me crossing the crux of the climb. It is the steep snow just below the Tarn and we had to get on the rock across the snow I was crossing:

I know that spot, but I've never had to cross snow there.

did you put on some yak trax or something for that bit, or just go with you regular hikers?

That was a good day for memories Ed! We'll be back out this summer after missing the Park for only the 2nd time since 1992 last year.

Here is a slideshow of the rest of the day with Ed: A Stroll in the Park with Igloo Ed
