Coming down to the end of my packing and everyone has been asking what I'll be eating on this fine Thanksgiving Day. A picture may help:
Posted Image
Starting on the left there is 1 1/2 liters of milk, 1 1/2 bags of Kashi Seven Grain puffed cereal with three little bags of freeze dried blueberries for the three morning breakfasts. On the right of the milk are my seven cashew butter and Wasa light rye triple decker crackers (Mike says Lembas Bread) which I have one of at mid morning and one at mid afternoon for snacks/energy. Further right of the Lembas Bread are my three burritos, one each day at noon. Even further right are my three salads, one each evening. The chunk of cheese in front of the salads takes the place of salad dressing. It's some pretty sharp cheese according to Mark Z.
The Honey Ham is for my holiday dinner and the next evening while the can of salmon in front of the ham is for the last evening.
The green things on the right are like Cheetos but have peas in the mix. Just a snack side. Next right is some filbert nuts then some apple juice sweetened dried cranberries and then some blanched almonds.
That triangular shaped centerpiece thingie that looks like pumkin pie... isn't.

You're so organized. It reminds me of the meals John had for Aaron's family only more healthful.

Have fun.

I passed Dream Lake and headed up the Haiyaha trail and soon came to where the big drifts form:

I had a great view looking south when I came around the corner at the Big Rock:

I passed some big snow covered rocks after I turned offon my route:

Got a great view of Hallett when I got to my igloo:

It was so beautiful today:

Looking up Chaos and seeing Haiyaha from just above the igloo:

The view south wasn't any shabbier:

Rather than spend the weekend by myself, I brought my bud Whitie along and he had a blast sliding down the snow around camp:

Today I had a friend, his son and son's wife visit me at my igloo. A couple hours after they left, Grannyheart showed up and we started making a snow sculpture but she left before it was finished:

A view blocker for sure.

I figure he's scarry enough to keep bears at bay:

Bed will feel good tonight:

OMG Ed....he's awesome!!!! I love the hands!!! Is he gonna get legs or is he just gonna remain on a pedestal? I had so much fun today! The trip down was fast and easy (and I didn't even get lost! lol). Could you see extra lights on Elkhorn tonight? The Christmas parade was going on down there.

Oh ya, I posted a separate thread about my visit up there today. I've got some pics of "the guy" in progress.

 What a great thread, Ed. I'm enjoying the humor you bring, and the sights are fantastic.
Sure glad you were able to get Whitie out of the house for awhile.
