My daughter would also say that a "Free Game" certificate from Tiny Town mini-golf is the best thing to have as you dream of coming back for the next trip. They don't shop there but do enjoy going to the "Glassworks Studio and Gallery" to see the artist's make paperweights and vases. It is fun to watch them work the glass as they talk about what they are doing and the kid's also get a free souvenir (glass disc) from the glassblowers. WARNING: This store can make parents nervous due to all of the glass around but keep the kids by the seating area and everything should be fine. I have seen a young one accidentally break something in the store and the staff are actually very cool about it. They know it can happen and don't make a scene, just clean up the remains and go on with Life. As long as the kids aren't running around unattended everything should be ok.

I can't remember the names of every shop, but if you park near Elkhorn and start walking in any direction, you'll find something neat every 2 shops or so. I just went for taffy and T-shirts (only place I can find Bear Whiz t-shirts), but my daughter brought back rocks and earrings and books and t-shirts and rock candy.
BTW...why can't you get great salt water taffy anywhere else but Estes Park, Atlantic City, and Branson?

I stand corrected, Estes Ark is an annual stop on the shopping trip for the kids.

1. Estes Ark- Giant wooden boat on the right side, just as you come into Estes Park. It is 3 levels of every stuffed animal you can imagine.
2. Gepetto's Toy Shop on Elkhorn Ave, left side of the street as you are heading towards RMNP.
3. Nature's Own on Elkhorn Ave, right side of the street as you are heading towards RMNP. This store has a wide variety of nature oriented toys, games, books, etc.
4. The old fashioned candy store on Elkhorn Ave, left side of the street
5. Macdonald's Book Shop, left side of the street, has a great kid's section of books.
Have fun!!
