Guess I'm a little surprised not to see a review for this already here, but then maybe I shouldn't be...
In any case, I've stayed at the KOA just off Hwy 34 as you first get into Estes three times between Summer 2004 and Summer 2008. I always get one of their small cabins, and have been very pleased with how well they're kept up. Haven't had any problems with the "neighbors", though I've heard that things can get a little rowdy sometimes over on the tent side of the park.
The cabins have a bunk bed and a queen (I think that's the size) bed to sleep 3-4 folks. There is a ceiling fan with light, and a couple of electrical outlets and a desk with chair. A small heating unit is also built in for when it gets cold over night.
Like most KOAs, the bathrooms are part of the main building, and so getting a cabin or space near it is ideal - particularly if you tend to need to get up at night. This particular KOA has three large Bathroom/Shower rooms on the west side, and then the more typical Men's and Women's multi stall/showers on the east side.
Pricing is a major reason to stay here, and even in July the prices are quite decent compared to most of the motels/hotels in Estes.
Not a bad place if you want to see RMNP on a budget.

I stayed at the KOA in late August of 2006, and I'll never do it again. Nothing against the KOA, the people there were friendly, but if you stay in a tent (as I was), it's right by the highway and it's very noisy. Didn't sleep well at all. It's crowded, as are most KOA's, and I felt like I was sharing space with my neighbors just a little too much.
There weren't many tenters there, now I know why...
