I'm recording two podcasts tomorrow. The first will be with the folks who have been contracted to handle mountain pine beetle mitigation in RMNP. Any questions you'd like to have asked?

The second is with Kyle Patterson regarding the wilderness designation that RMNP just received. Any questions?

Good Morning Aaron. Thanks for giving us an opportunity to have our questions included in your podcasts. I hope I am not too late, but I feel you will cover these questions anyway. Thanks for doing these podcasts. The first one was very interesting and helpful.

What is the mitigators' 5-10 year prognosis for the lodge pole pines within RMNP where they are treating? And, what is their prognosis for the lodge pole pines in the areas surrounding RMNP which are not being treated?

For Mr. Patterson, how will the wilderness designation affect the RMNP visitor?

Thanks for the question gremm I had to hold back on those. I'll use them for another MPB podcast I've got planned. The lady I interviewed lives in Wyoming and wasn't too familiar with RMNP. It's a family business and her brother was familiar with our park though. Anyway, I'll be interviewing some with specific RMNP MPB knowledge soon (hopefully scheduling works out), and I'll use those questions for them.

This podcast was good. Good info about how they treat the trees, what they use, how they apply it, etc, etc. I'll have it released next week sometime. The wilderness designation podcast I'll get out as soon as I can this week after recording.

Still taking questions for the wilderness designation podcast....send 'em my way until 3pm CDT.
