Was contemplating heading up for some snowshoeing today, but woke up to high winds. NOAA says Carter lake had 90+ mph winds, Longmont 80+, and Estes Park is still included in a high wind warning for this morning.

NOAA warning is here. Any reports from Estes citizens and denizens?

I just took the dog out for a walk - yep, it was windy! (Had I known about the high wind warning, I would have had an excuse to stay home smile1.gif)

Ain't that the truth! yup.gif blink.gif

Well, it was nuts at my house in Westminster (about halfway between Denver and Boulder). Kept us awake all night I'm afraid, and lost some siding. Neighbors lost two 10'-15' sections of fence too. Not fun. Here at work near downtown Denver, hardly a breeze! Go figure! Be safe out there everyone!

It's a little breezy, but not like a couple days ago. We had patio furniture flying in the night. We always tie the grill to the deck railing anyway in the fall so it was fine. My dog didn't want to go outside at all. I did notice a pile of fine gravel along the edge of my garage door that had blown in. So yeah I guess it's windy, but the sky was a wonderful shade of blue. I missed the blue skies while I was in KS over Christmas. I will take the wind any day to have the view we do, those drab overcast days were killing me.

It's been unusually sunny the past couple of days in STL. But I still can't wait to get back to the mountains.
