Glenn, you and anyone else here, are always welcome to join me on a hike!

Bummer that I picked Father's Day.  I have a habit of doing these things.  I guess it will be ok since I also missed Mother's Day as I was in Key West this past weekend.  whistling.gif

Thanks! That would be cool. We'll have to set it up for another time.
Hope your hike's a good one. Take some photos, it should be a bit different thann January. There is probably not as much chance of your face freezing this time.

How was Key West, BTW.

It was great to get away for a weekend of R&R! The beaches leave much to be desired, and we're not too big on the club/bar scene anymore. But the wife and I had a great time, together, and that's all that matters. We also managed to sneak in a paddle; a nice leisurely kayaking trip along the mangroves of Boca Chica - beautiful water down there if you find the right spots. It was funny, the looks I was getting sitting on a beach paging through my favorite mountaineering magazine.

Just working on going through the pictures as I type.

Hahaha. Yeah, I heard about all that, saw little evidence...but maybe I just wasn't really looking.

I've been to Key West twice, and decided you can completely ignore all that reputed stuff if you want, and that there's lots of other very great things to do there...

Hope the laugh was ok...

Cool! Hey smudge, I'll be hiking in to Thunder Lake on the 22nd! How will I know you if we pass along the way?
