Jamie and I were driving back from a CCY attempt on Tuesday (yesterday) and the weather that chased us off unloaded... tons of hail and a huge dumpage of rain... I was playing with the time lapse video on my camera and was hoping it caught this lightning bolt as we were at the base of sundance mountain... we got lucky! Look at the smart people walking around outside!!

Wow, what a great catch! The people walking around outside are probably related to the ones we saw taking a pic of an elk not more than 10 feet away last week.

Smudge! That is so amazing that you captured that lightning hitting the mountain like that. It gives me the shivers thinking of someone being UP there when that happened. If ever there was an advertisement to get down below treeline before the storm comes, this is it! Wow!

Nice capture!

I was chased off the side of Pagoda that same day.

The weather really did cut loose for a bit.
